I am a multimedia producer, director, editor and sound engineer with more than 18 years experience producing original programming for public radio broadcast and Sirius Satellite Radio, as well as creating branded content for nonprofits, educators, brands, and artists including Taylor Swift and Method Man. Recent professional projects include audio and video content for social justice campaigns and educational programming for Californians for Safety and Justice, Dolby Cinema, and Santa Clara University. Years spent working for AOL Music, and Liquid Digital Media (the Walmart.com Download Store) as an audio content producer, editor, content manager, and label liaison meant I was part of teams creating the protocols and systems that helped shape the digital media ecosystem we use today.
Through my radio show the Perennial Philosophy, I have interviewed and engineered live performances of hundreds of musicians and artists including GrandMaster Flash, Cee Lo, K-Flay, Tycho, and Diplo. I am also a watercolor painter, DJ, classically trained violinist and violist. As a member of the Local 365 Art Collective, I curated over 30 live art and music events in the San Francisco Bay Area. My film collaborations with Roy Two Thousand have resulted in an Official Selection, Nevada City Film Festival; a Best Over-All, Chronos Festival award; a Vimeo Staff Pick and a video installation in The Art of Burning Man exhibition in the Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery.
Developed and Produced the Life Invented content series created for Santa Clara University Admissions with the intention of providing deeper engagement opportunities for undecided admitted students, prospective faculty and staff, and SCU alumni. Podcasts and video shorts were created for social media, direct email, and on campus event presentations.
